Our goal is simple - improve the welfare of animals and humans alike. We do this through techniques that not only help our animals learn the skills they need to be successful, but that promote mental and emotional fitness and create resilient and happy learners.

For this reason, we do not rely on the use of tools or techniques that create fear, pain, panic, or conflict.

Instead, we take a comprehensive approach that takes into consideration the physical, mental, and emotional health of the learner during and after training. We lean on our extensive "toolbox" of knowledge and experience to help us craft creative, individualized, and humane plans to modify behavior.

Our primary methodology is called positive-reinforcement, and is based on working with your animal's natural needs and behaviors instead of against them. This is not only incredibly effective, but makes training enjoyable and strengthens your relationship with your canine companion.

We adhere to the principles of LIMA (Least Invasive Minimally Aversive) and the Humane Hierarchy and follow the guidance of The American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior.
We focus on pleasant, healthy motivation and do not utilize compulsion-based methods.

It is our belief that training should be a safe and fun way to build a positive and trusting relationship between animal and guardian. Our training will always aim to meet the needs of everyone involved and produce a beneficial long-term outcome.
